Forms of CBD

CBD can be found in the hemp and cannabis plant. Hemp was used for thousands of years creating paper or textile while CBD was used in medicine.

  • What is CBD – it is the abbreviation of Cannabidiol, it is one of the most prominent naturally-occurring cannabinoid component in the cannabis plant.

  • Will I get high from CBD? – Unlike another molecule of the cannabis or hemp, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD is completely non-psychoactive and never makes you feel “high”.

  • Obvious benefits – Though CBD is just one of over 60 cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, many scientific studies have indicated that CBD possesses the greatest therapeutic potential of all the cannabinoids.

  • Is CBD legal?  The 2014 Farm Bill signed by President Barack Obama, Section 7606 of the 2014 Farm Bill authorized the growth and cultivation of industrial hemp, from which CBD ostensibly derives.

The biggest difference in legality is the THC level. While marijuana plants contain high levels of THC, hemp contains very little of the psychoactive chemical, containing no more than 0.3% THC. This single difference is what most rely on to distinguish hemp from marijuana.
